Kroon Kliniek Lelystad, medical treatment center for gastrointestinal and liver diseases, and SmartMed agreed on Feb. 1 to implement "SmartMed Clinic. SmartMed Clinic is the most innovative electronic prescription system (EVS) with administration registration (eTDR) and was developed specifically for ZBCs. The flexible platform supports specific needs for each type of clinic, and that was a key reason for Kroon Clinic to choose SmartMed Clinic.
SmartMed Clinic enables doctors and nurses at the Kroon Kliniek Lelystad to prescribe and administer medication safely and efficiently. SmartMed Clinic enables the electronic receipt and sending of a medical record and the electronic prescription of medication, both clinical and outpatient. The link to the LSP enables a patient's medication records to be retrieved prior to an intake visit. These are verified during the visit. After this, premedication can easily be prescribed, with medication monitoring taking place. If necessary, medication use can also be temporarily stopped.
With SmartMed Clinic, Kroon Kliniek Lelystad works completely digitally. Prescriptions are also sent digitally to the pharmacy.
