MCV Netherlands (center for gastrointestinal and liver diseases) and SmartMed signed an agreement for the use of SmartMed Clinic on February 17, 2021. SmartMed Clinic is the most innovative electronic prescription system (EVS) with administration registration (eTDR) and specifically developed for medication management in independent treatment centers.
SmartMed Clinic provides MCV with a secure system for the efficient prescription and administration of medication by doctors and nurses. Gerrit-Jan Verbeek, director of MCV: "With SmartMed Clinic we can guarantee the medication safety of our patients, from making the appointment to completing the treatment." Thanks to the link with the LSP, medication data can be retrieved and verified even prior to treatment. SmartMed Clinic also offers the ability to send prescriptions directly to the pharmacy digitally.
